Club Awards

Hole-in-One

If you get a hole-in-one during league play on Tuesday night get someone in your foursome to sign your score card and then please notify the President and let her know when you got it, what hole you got it on and what club you used. Please hold onto your lucky ball as you will be presented with special commemorative gift box at the year end gala.

Break 100, 90 & 80 Pins

These are awards given to members who achieve milestones in their scores. When you break 100, 90 or 80 for the first time, have the scorecard verified by a RBG member in your group and then contact the President to advise her of your achievement. The scorecard will be submitted to the AGA/Golf Canada and you’ll get your pin.

Most Improved Golfer Award

To determine who is the most improved player each season, we compare each members’ handicap at the start of the year to the end of the year. The one who shaved the most points off their handicap for the year gets the “Most Improved Golfer” award.

Volunteer of the Year Award

All of the members who volunteered in any way throughout the golf season will have their name put into a draw for the Volunteer of the Year Award – which is a free membership in the club next year!

Putting Champion

New in 2016!  We will be offering a competition to determine who is the best putter in our club.  Watch for details coming soon.

Great Shot Award

Be sure to mark any hole-in-ones, albatrosses, eagles, birdies, and chip-ins? In the weekly score books. Everyone who achieves one of these great shots will receive a prize at the year end gala.

Club Champion

Each year we invite the Day Ladies league to join us for our Annual Tournament and the winner of the tournament will be named our Club Champion.
