WISEST Tournament

10th Annual WISEST Golf Tournament presented by Enbridge – July 27th at Mill Woods Golf Course in Edmonton

For over 30 years, WISEST (Women in Scholarship, Engineering, Science and Technology) has promoted inclusion and diversity within the sciences. We work with the University of Alberta and industry partners to run multiple programs that engage children and youth of all backgrounds in hands-on science, engineering and technology experiences.

This year, we are very excited to announce that 2016 is the 10th Anniversary of our annual WISEST Golf Tournament. WISEST is a donor-driven organization and this event is a much needed fundraising opportunity that also allows us to enjoy the company of our partners. As the tournament time approaches (Wednesday, July 27th), we are seeking sponsors in industry and business to help us grow the success of this event. We invite your company to support us through one or more tiers of sponsorship, including Sponsor-A-Student ($3,000), lunch sponsorship ($2,500), cart sponsorship ($1,500) and hole sponsorships ($500 each).

If your company chooses not to be a sponsor this year, you can also attend and promote the golf tournament with staff, friends, and clients. Our most important support is filling the golf carts and having attendance. Register early, make it a team event, and bring your best (worst) golfers!

The registration link is
http://www.eventbrite.ca/e/the-10th-annual-wisest-golf-tournament-and-silent-auction-presented-by-enbridge-registration-22434053859. Golfer registrations are $135 each (early bird until June 22nd).

Alternately, you can also provide a donation for our silent auction fundraiser. This could be in the form of a product related to your industry, company SWAG in a nice basket, a gift certificate, a beautiful piece of art/photography, or another appropriate item. Your donation will be recognized by signage on the item.

Any level and type of support is welcome! Please direct all inquiries related to these opportunities to the co-chair of the WISEST group, Lisa White, who is also a Riverside Business Girls Golf Club member, at lisa_white@clifton.ca. Thank you for your time and consideration.
